Dallas, TX - Continuing our commitment to a premiere, community-driven eSports experience, Live Entertainment is proud to announce the first World of Warcraft 3v3 Invitational Online Tournament in our 2014 $10,000 Prize Pool Armageddon Series. The tournament will be live streamed at PVP-Live.com/Armageddon as well as through our partner Twitch channel Saturday and Sunday, March 15th and 16th, 2014.

PVP LIVE’s Armageddon Series will continue throughout 2014. The first tournament will feature a double elimination tournament format, with two teams advancing to a single elimination Grand Finals bracket. The series is officially licensed by Blizzard Entertainment, allowing us to provide a polished, high-quality event by working with their eSports team to tackle - and solve - difficult technical issues that have challenged tournaments in the past.

Our programming contains not only the ultimate tournament experience with top ranked World of Warcraft players, but also our dedicated broadcast team. Our player-centric philosophy will be front and center, bringing viewers inside the experience to learn about the players, chronicle their gaming history and future, as well as providing the top notch shoutcast commentary our audience has come to expect from PVP LIVE.

Is there any intentions or at least the idea of all of these 2014 tournies eventually culminating into a live Grand Finals that includes the winning team from each online event or something to that extent? Just a thought/question. :]

Obviously the question that comes to mind when talking 'bout a WoW tournament : US > EU ?

Sorry... Seriously though is the tournament gonna be hosted on west coast ? east cost ? Asia ? Europe ? Is it aimed at all the regions ? Are we gonna see region-based qualifiers/events like WCS then culminating (as Blitzkrieg mentionned before) in a cross-region grand final ?

Very very good news for everyone interested in PvP, thanks a lot for that.

I'm still working on a project aiming at promoting tournaments (brackets, hall of fame, VoDs, some kind of mix between Liquipedia and Challonge) hope I can finish it on time and offer it to PvP-Live (even if you use it under the hood).

EDIT : nvm my question, everything is answered right there : http://pvp-live.com/content/interview-marty-lazerchicken-pvp-lives-2014-tournament-plans .

FFS why can't I make a proper carriage return :( unreadable wall of text :(
